Wolman's disease. A rare cause of adrenal calcification in infants: a case report

A case is reported of Wolman's disease in an infant, in which clinical and radiological findings and the course of the disease were comparable in all respects with those reported in the literature. A recapitulative study of radiological criteria, specific for the different causes of adrenal calcification in infants, enabled a formal diagnosis of Wolman's disease to be made, a condition which should not be confused with other diseases in which there is increased accumulation.
