Psychodramatherapy with 10 psychiatric patients (5 psychotic, 5 neurotic) during 6 mo. with one 3-h session per week was supported by video-feedback. Test instruments, individual goal attainment scoring and therapy assessment scales were administered in the preexamination, therapeutic concomitant testing, post-examination and follow-up (3 mo. after end of therapy). Video-feedback can be easily integrated in the psychodramatic setting. Selected scenes from video-recording (total 15-20 min) of the psychodramatic action phase presented to a variable time in the 3-h session were appraised to be important, helpful and informative by the patients especially in the case of own protagonistic games. Psychotherapeutic process differs between psychotic and neurotic patients, in particular psychotic patients showed a restricted emotional response to the therapy session.
