Simultaneous intracavitary (right atrium) and esophageal (left atrium) recordings were performed in 3 patients with left artrial rhythm. In 2, in whom left atrial rhythm was converted for a short time to sinus rhythm, an intermittent interatrial dissociation lasting only 1 beat was found during the transition.
