Two cases of congenital gallbladder septum with symptoms resembling those of cholelithiasis are reported. Cholecystectomy relieved symptoms in both cases and examination of the operative specimen confirmed the X-ray finding. Cholecystectomy is advocated in symptomatic patients with this condition, even when gallstones are not present.
