A new method for the surgical treatment of the dumping syndrome

A new method for the operative treatment of the dumping syndrome is reported and an analysis of the results obtained in 28 patients follow-up for periods of 10 mo.-10 yr is presented. There were no deaths, the complication rate was low and the results in terms of relief of the dumping symptoms and weight gain were satisfactory. The method offers a surgical approach for the treatment of patients with severe and disabling dumping symptoms.
