In the acute stage of opisthorchiasis, the diurnal activity of nonspecific phosphomonoesterases, different types of lysosomal acid phosphatase, succinate dehydrogenase changes, their average daily level decreases, and the blood supply of the organ through the 24 h cycle becomes desynchronized.
