A patient with retinitis pigmentosa, a retinal vasculopathy typical of Coats's Disease, and elevated A2 and fetal hemoglobin consistent with thalassemia minor is presented. Further cases of Coats's disease and other retinal vasculopathies will have to be evaluated to see if there are associated minor hemoglobinopathies present.
