Particular features of the venous drainage in the adrenal gland of the dog are described. Because the adrenals come in close relation of adhesion with caudal vena cava on the right and with phrenico-addominal veins on the right and left, the drainage system is performed by small venules. The venules open directly in above mentioned veins at the points of contact with the glands.
