Study of toxohormone properties by the proteolytic enzyme digestion method

The effect of digestion by proteolytic enzymes (trypsin, pepsin, pronase, papain) on the biological activity of toxohormone was studied. A decrease of 50% in toxohormonal activity was found after 24-h enzymatic hydrolysis with papain, trypsin and pepsin. A similar effect was obtained by digestion with pronase for 12 h.
