CT is the best radiologic investigation for demonstrating disease in the temporal bone. Langerhans cell histiocytosis has an unpredictable natural history, which ranges from rapidly fatal progressive disease to spontaneous resolution. Treatment modalities include surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and steroid injections, alone or in combination. Authors of recent articles have preferred a chemotherapeutic regimen based on vinblastine and prednisone. In our patient, chemotherapy was used with a good result at 3 years of follow-up.
