Possibility of using halogen lamps in surgical light sources

For higher efficiency of surgical light-sources the halogen lamps are recommended for them instead of incandescent lamps. First experimental results indicated the following advantages of halogen lamps: lesser consumption of electrical power per unit of illumination, prolonged service term, and lower temperature of operative field.
