An additional antigen in the .alpha.-globulin region, that is not found in normal and in irradiated rats, was revealed in the blood serum after a thermal injury and combined radiation-thermal damage (a burn and irradiation with 800R). The content of this antigen is much higher in the serum with combined radiation-thermal injury, its maximum level is found on days 1-3.
