Interaction of malignant neoplastic cells with immunologic system cells, represented by alterations of the functional state and number of T and B lymphocytes and of the concentrations of immunoglobulins, were the subject of few communications in the gynecology field. An evaluation of the number of T and B lymphocytes and the concentrations of IgG, IgA and IgM in women with diagnosed malignant genital neoplasms was made. The investigations covered 30 women with neoplasms (18 cases of uterine cervix cancer, 10 cases of uterine corpus cancer and 2 cases of ovarian cancer), 50 healthy women without apparent neoplastic process and 50 women with diagnosed uterine myoma. In all women the concentrations of Ig were determined using the Mancini technique. The percentage and absolute numbers of T lymphocytes were determined using the rosette E test of Jondall and of B lymphocytes using the rosette EA test of Holm. The percentage of B lymphocytes in women with neoplastic process of the genitals was lower in comparison with healthy subjects. In women with malignant neoplastic process and in subjects with uterine myomata the concentrations of IgG and IgM were lower in comparison with healthy women.
