Using EM procedures capable of detecting rotaviruses, feces from human and non-human primates [baboon, chimpanzee, rhesus monkey, cebus monkey, squirrel monkey] were examined for the presence of these viruses. Fecal samples were taken from man and animals with and without diarrhea. Rotaviruses were not observed in these specimens.
