In the beginning of the development of tumor immunology, when experiments were already conducted with well defined systems excluding the influence of histocompatibility antigens, the accumulation of important information was explosive. During the latest years our understanding about the oncogenic viruses and the immune system increased. As usual with increasing knowledge the number of unanswered questions increased.
