Chromosomes of Triatominae I: Haploid karyotypes of three species in the genus Rhodnius (hemiptera: Reduviidae)

Meiotic metaphases from testes are studied in 3 Rhodnius spp.: R. neivai, R. robustus and R. neglectus. The haploid karyotypes of these 3 spp. have 10 autosomes and a Y chromosome. All chromosomes are identified according to their total lengths and idiograms are constructed for all 3 spp.
