A schematic representation was presented of 3 types of skin regenerates: scar-type, dermal and full-valued. A developing full-valued regenerate with newly formed hair follicles and sebaceous glands in hedgehog belly was depicted. Exerimental conditions affected the type of regenerate which developed.
