A new insecticide smoke-pot, GO-60, developed on the basis of a gamma-isomer of BHC are 4-5 times more toxic for bloodsucking mosquitoes than G-17 smoke pots. For elimination of mosquitoes in nature it is necessary to use one GO-60 smoke pot (2 kg)/4 ha in open habitats (flood plain, meadow) and GO-60 smoke pot/2.5-3 ha in the forest.
