Inflammatory pseudotumor and lung adenoma

Cases of adenoma of the lung (60) were reported. The lesion is reported under many names in the literature. The related literature is reviewed and discussed. It is suggested that the term inflammatory pseudotumor of the lung embracing lesions pathologically and clinically varying in nature should be abandoned and the term sclerosing hemangioma of the lung be replaced by the term lung adenoma.
