Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome was found in 99 hospital patients. For more than half the patients this syndrome was chronic, and for the rest it was associated with single or multiple disorders. More than 50% of the cases with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome revealed an infarct-like ECG, sometimes masking the symptoms of ischemic heart disease. Idioventricular rhythm was differentiated from atypical variants of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome when a delta-like swelling covering both peak P and the horizontal part of the P-Q interval was observed.
