The Visual Crosses Test gives an evaluation of space perception and the ability to arrange objects in space. It was used to examine 75 patients with dementia (divided into nosographic groups) and 35 controls. A statistical comparison between the controls and the various groups was significantly (P < 0.01) in favor of the controls. This test could be useful in investigating disorders of orientation and of spatial organization in dementia.
