A case of alveolar soft part sarcoma that showed sensitivity to 2 chemotherapeutic agents, adriamycin and intermediate dose methotrexate with citrovorum factor rescue was reported. A reliably effective antitumor chemotherapy regimen may eventually be an integral part of the early management of all patients with alveolar soft part muscle sarcoma.
