The case history is described of 2 women 56 and 24 years old who showed decreased Mg in serum and erythrocytes during convulsions or muscular contractions. Signs of Mg deficiency appeared during the menopause in one patient and during puberty in the other. Both were successfully treated with Aspargin, a preparation which contains Mg.
