Mebendazole 8.8. mg/kg and trichlorphon 39.6 mg/kg in a single oral dose were effective (96% to 100%) in treating infections of Parascaris equorum, Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus, S. equinus small strongyles, Oxyuris equi, Gasterophilus intestinalis and G. nasalis in horses. No significant palatability problems were encountered with the formulation mixed with the feed. Side effects were minimal.
