In 100 human cerebella the course, origin and area supplied by the anterior inferior cerebellar arteries was studied, not including the deep branches supplying the medullary body and nuclei of the cerebellum. In a majority of cases the anterior inferior cerebellar arteries arose from the basilar artery. Their course and area supplied depended on the number of arteries on 1 side and their development.
