Cavernous haemangioma in the pineal region

The authors report a case of a cavernous haemangioma in the pineal region which presented as a progressively enlarging mass lesion. Clinical, radiographic and pathologic features are briefly described. Total removal was achieved using the supracerebellar, infratentorial approach.
