La localisation duodénale de la tuberculose est très rare. La région duodénopancréatique semble présenter une sorte d'immunité vis-à-vis du processus tuberculeux. Il importe de distinguer d'emblée les cas où le duodénum est atteint au cours d'une tuberculose généralisée (ce fait est déjà en lui-même peu fréquent) et les cas dans lesquels la tuberculose duodénale apparaît comme primitive et se manifeste par une symptomatologie locale, ne permettant pas cependant, en général, de porter cliniquement le diagnostic.
