The stability of household chemicals may be assessed using such criteria as the permissible levels' and concentrations of biologically active substances in the air and liquid media. The threshold concentrations of their irritative, allergenic and general toxic action as critera of their possible noxious action. Under certain conditions long-term consequences (blastogenic, embryotropic, gonadotropic, mutagenic properties) of household chemicals are to be studied using guinea pigs, albino rats and hybrid mice.
