Psychotherapy for ageing or old people is defined and described, and certain theoretical and practical aspects are dealt with. Special emphasis is laid on the direction and movement of a series of therapeutic encounters, so as to make clear, even to the non-specialist reader, what the patient might expect to gain from these.
